Dog Days of Summer 2023

Calling all dog lovers around Herrington Lake! “The Dog Days of Summer” are here!

We know how much you adore your furry companions and the joy they bring to your lake adventures. To celebrate our love for our lake pets and the fun they have by the lake, we’re launching an exciting sale on our online store, and a photo contest. AND, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re expanding our offerings to include a range of pet items, including cozy dog beds and stylish bandanas! You can check that out here!

We want to keep the excitement going and engage with our pawsome audience. So, we’ve got a delightful game just for you: “Lake Dog Caption Challenge”.

Here’s how it works:

• Share a photo of your beloved pup enjoying the beautiful Herrington Lake.
• Add a creative and funny caption that captures the spirit of your dog’s lake adventures. Be sure to include their name!
• Post your photo and caption in the comments of one of our Facebook Posts about the contest by next Monday (July 24). You can also post into our Herrington Lake Photography group. Either way, we'll see it!

Prizes!!

On Monday, we’ll randomly select three captions/photos and those lucky winners will receive a special gift  - up for grabs is a $70 gift basket from Petsense in Danville.  For the other two winners, I will put together a special gift from the Herrington Lake Trading Post.
