During the Summer and Fall markets, Daycrest Farm features a Saturday On-Site Farm Market, which is open from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m on select days, during spring and fall. At the market you will find our seasonal produce (focusing on our beautiful tomatoes), jams, pickles, tomato juice, honey, flowers, bakery items, and much more. The selection changes weekly according to availability. Everything sold at our market is grown by us or made by our family, with an occasional offering from a neighbor farm or friend. Our produce and flowers are also available throughout the week. Just call to see if we are home to serve you or stop by!
Daycrest Farm is also home to our flower gardens. We begin with tulips in the spring, transition to our summer flower garden (featuring zinnias, dahlias, sunflowers, and more), and finish the season with our sunflower field, field- grown mums, specialty pumpkins, and more. We offer you-pick opportunities and flower workshops throughout the season, along with our annual Sunflower Festival. These opportunities are announced on our Facebook page. Larland Beef
Larland Beef offers farm fresh Black Angus beef raised on our farm in Garrard Co. Many Herrington Lake goer's have passed us as they head to the lake. We are located on Sutton Lane and our 600 acres expand to both Swope Road and all the way back to Homestead Herrington.
We offer every cut of beef and our customers can enjoy purchasing individual cuts (just like at the grocery store), monthly beef boxes (just like Amazon's Subscribe & Save), or Bulk Beef (half or whole cow). Our meat is both Appilacian/Kentucky Proud and USDA certified. You can often find us at the Boyle Co. Farmers Market during their season and we also sell year-round right from the farm.
Ordering is easy, you can call us or place an order online. We offer FREE shipping to all our farm neighbors located in Bright Leaf, Colt's Run, Angela's Corner, Swope/Sutton Lane, and Homestead Herrington. We also will deliver to your door for $10 within a 5 mile radius. Or, if you're outside the delivery location, you're always welcome to schedule a pickup time at the farm. We do our best to service customers within 1-2 business days. We are proud to have a 5 star raing on both Google and Facebook and we'd love to be your local farmer!
